A Starbucks drive-thru has opened close to Westwood Cross.

The newest franchise from the espresso big is being operated by Cobra Espresso, which is owned by Southern Co-op.

The shop has created 20 jobs and has opened as we speak.

Permission to construct the outlet – which can be subsequent to McDonald’s and close to Sainsbury’s – was given the inexperienced mild by council chiefs final July.

Elizabeth Bone, district supervisor for Cobra Espresso, stated: “We’re extremely happy to have the ability to supply new jobs to folks within the native space and stay up for welcoming the local people.”

It is going to be open from 6.30am to 7pm Monday to Friday, 7am-7pm on Saturdays and 8am to 6pm on Sundays.
