The deadline to use for council-appointed seats on the South Maui Group Plan Advisory Committee is approaching on Thursday, Planning and Sustainable Land Use Committee Chairperson Tamara Paltin reminded residents.
9 of the CPAC’s 13 members will probably be appointed by the council, whereas 4 will probably be appointed by the mayor. The South Maui neighborhood plan space contains Maalaea, Pulehunui, Kihei, Wailea, Makena and Ahihi-Kinau. All residents in these areas are inspired to use.
